Each year, members of the Wine & Roses Committee appear on NHTV.

The North Haven Rotary Club will hold its 13th annual fundraiser for charity known as ‘A Day of Wine & Roses’ on Sunday, September 28. The popular wine tasting and wine making competition was expanded last fall to include an enormous food festival. This major event runs from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at the Forget-Me-Not Flower Shop at 39 State Street, as well as on the adjoining property of All Star Automotive.

The event is truly unique because, in addition to professional judges, the public can vote on which wines taste best. The club is indebted to the numerous businesses and individuals who lend their support each year. In addition to parking allowed by several businesses nearby, a shuttle is provided to/from Merola Motors for overflow.

Participants enjoy endless food and beverages donated by fine restaurants, gourmet markets, well known food trucks, and private individuals; enter raffles for exciting gift baskets and creative floral arrangements; bid on a variety of valuable auction items; observe cooking demonstrations; purchase goods and services from high end vendors; and enjoy outstanding vocalists and instrumental performances.
